Slack notifications: connection and use

Last updated: October 19, 2026

With Strike's Slack integration, your team receives Strike alerts in the channels it already uses, without having to log in to the platform to find out what happened.

How to connect Slack

  1. Go to Settings → Notifications.

  2. In the Slack section, click Add to Slack.

  3. Slack asks you to approve access to your workspace.

The connection applies to the whole organization: a single installation covers the entire team, and it is managed by Owners.

How to choose which channels receive alerts

Once the app is installed, invite it to any channel:

/invite @Strike

All members of that channel receive the organization's alerts.

How to follow specific assets or Projects in a channel

You can group assets or Projects in the same Slack channel with these commands:

/strike asset:assetId, assetId

/strike project:projectId, projectId

  • You can add as many assets or Projects as you want in a single command.

  • The channel receives all relevant notifications for those assets and Projects.

This way each team follows only what matters to it, for example with one channel per product with its own assets.

Which events are sent

The events sent to Slack are configured in Settings → Notifications: Threat emulation status (when a run starts, finishes or fails), Vulnerability published, Asset status and Project status.

Slack preferences apply to the whole organization and are managed by Owners. For more details, see Notification settings.
