Slack notifications: connection and use

With Strike's integration with Slack, your team receives Strike alerts in the channels it already uses, without needing to log in to the platform to know what happened.

How to connect Slack

  1. Go to Settings → Notifications.

  2. In the Slack section, click Add to Slack.

  3. You'll be redirected to Slack to approve access to your workspace.

The connection applies to your entire organization: a single installation covers the whole team, and it's managed by Owners.

Choosing where alerts arrive

Once the app is installed, invite it to any channel:

/invite @Strike

Everyone in that channel will receive the organization's alerts.

Following specific assets or projects in a channel

You can group assets or projects in the same Slack channel with the command:
/strike asset:assetId, assetId
or
/strike project:projectId, projectId

  • You can add as many assets or projects as you want in a single command.

  • The channel will receive all relevant notifications for those assets and projects.

This lets each team follow only what's relevant to them — for example, one channel per product with its own assets.

Which events are sent

The events sent to Slack are configured in Settings → Notifications: threat emulation status, vulnerability published, asset status, and project status.

The Slack toggles apply to the entire organization and are managed by Owners.
